Mumbai: Every person in Mumbai eagerly waits for the weekend to make plans and enjoy their time off, but one thing they often worry about is how the weather will turn out. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbaikars can expect a generally cloudy sky with light rain on the weekends.

From September 15 to 19, Mumbaikars can expect generally cloudy skies with varying levels of rainfall throughout the week. On September 15, light rain is predicted with a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. Moving into September 16 and 17, moderate rainfall is expected, with temperatures remaining around 30 degrees Celsius during the day and 25 degrees Celsius at night. The weather continues to be rainy on September 18 and 19, with temperatures peaking at 30 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. Flight Diversion Due To Bad Weather
An IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Phuket was diverted to Penang in Malaysia on Friday due to bad weather conditions, according to the airline. The aircraft was in Penang for around four hours, and after receiving requisite clearances, it took off and landed in Phuket (Thailand), as reported by news agency PTI.
Some people took to social media to mention the flight diversion. "In response to adverse weather conditions in Phuket, flight 6E 1701, operating from Mumbai to Phuket, has been diverted to Penang, Malaysia, the nearest airport. "Passengers have been fully informed of the unexpected detour. In the meantime, refreshments have been provided to ensure their comfort," IndiGo said in a statement.
