New Delhi: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anil Vij, who recently created a stir with his claim for the Chief Minister post, today said that he will never “disobey” any order of the party. The six-time MLA had demanded that he be made the CM if BJP wins the upcoming assembly elections, based on his seniority. Vij’s remarks come at a time when the BJP has made clear that Nayab Singh Saini will be the Chief Minister if it retains the state.
This morning, after voting in the crucial Haryana assembly polls, Vij tried to play down the incident while speaking to reporters after casting his vote.

"People questioned why Anil Vij was not chosen when Manohar Lal Khattar was replaced by Nayab Singh Saini. Several people asked me, and some smart individuals said that 'we wanted Anil Vij to become the CM, but he doesn't want to.' I answered them by saying that I never disobey any order of the party," Vij said.
