New Delhi: Due to waterlogging in Mundka, the Delhi Traffic Police have issued an advisory regarding traffic diversions in the area. Additionally, the traffic police have also alerted commuters to plan their journey accordingly when traveling from AIIMS towards Dhaula Kuan.

As heavy rains hit the city, several areas are facing waterlogging and traffic delays. The traffic police took to the social media platform X to share this information. The city traffic police posted videos on X showing vehicles navigating through waterlogged roads in Mundka and Dhaula Kuan.

While sharing the video and posting the advisory for Mundka, the traffic police wrote, "Traffic Advisory: Due to waterlogging at Mundka, traffic diversions are in effect. Kindly follow the advisory." The traffic advisory mentioned, "Due to waterlogging at Mundka, traffic is affected on Rohtak Road in both carriageways from Tikri Border to Peeragarhi and vice versa. Commuters are advised to avoid Mundka and take alternative routes."

The advisory provided alternative routes for commuters, stating, "Commuters coming from Bahadurgarh and heading to Peeragarhi are advised to take the Jharodha-Najafgarh route via UER-II and then use Najafgarh-Nangloi Road to reach Peeragarhi." It further advised, "Similarly, commuters coming from Peeragarhi are requested to take Outer Ring Road-District Centre Janakpuri-Najafgarh to reach Bahadurgarh or Tikri Border."

The city traffic police urged the Motorists to remain patient and follow the traffic advisory to avoid inconvenience. "The general public and motorists are advised to stay patient, observe traffic rules and road discipline, and follow the directions of traffic personnel deployed at all intersections,'' the advisory added.

For Dhaula Kuan, the city traffic police while sharing the video, wrote on X, ''Traffic Alert: Traffic is affected on the Ring Road in the carriageway from AIIMS towards Dhaula Kuan due to water logging near Satya Niketan Bus Stand. Kindly plan your journey accordingly.''
