Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) has hit the screens, September 5. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has received mixed reviews positive from audiences.
Adding to the excitement the film has created, the makers of GOAT have announced the sequel to Vijay's action film.
GOAT sequel titled GOAT Vs OG
In the end credits of GOAT, it was officially revealed that the film will return with a second part, titled GOAT vs OG. In the film GOAT, Vijay plays the role of Gandhi, a member of SATS (Special Anti-Terrorist Squad). The film tells the story of the special agent who embarks on a mission to uncover the truth about events involving his own family and the members of the SATS.

Given the interesting negative role of Jeevan/Sanjay (played by Vijay), Venkat Prabhu will reportedly delve deep about the villain instead of the hero in GOAT vs. OG. Moreover, social media is abuzz with speculations of Ajith Kumar joining the star cast in the second part. However, the makers of the film have not made an official announcement about the cast yet.
Venkat Prabhu, who previously worked with Ajith in Mankatha, delivered a cult classic with the Tamil superstar, which has heightened expectations about for their potential reunion.

GOAT stars Vijay in dual roles – a father and son duo who take on each other. The film’s cast includes Vijay, Meenaakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Jayaram, Parvathi Nair, Ajmal, Mohan, Vaibhav, Premji, Yogi Babu among others and the music for it is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
