The film GOAT has grossed Rs 67 crore in two days, which is less compared to Vijay’s previous film Leo which grossed higher earnings at the box office on the second day.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film features Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Parvathi, Jayaram, Ajmal, Mohan, Vaibhav, Premji among others and the music for it is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Following this major dip on day 2, the movie is expected to gain numbers over the weekend. The film is made with a budget of Rs 400 crore, the film's digital rights are reportedly sold at Rs 30 crore and the film has already grossed Rs 67 crore at the box office, this means, the film needs Rs 300 crore earnings at the box office to make the film a profitable venture for the makers.

While fans praised the film for Vijay's stellar performance, critics pointed out the lengthy run time, and the lack of a fresh storyline, which may have affected its second-day earnings.
