‘First Raped, Then Set Her on Fire’: Andhra Minor Screaming of Pain Spotted by Locals, Hospitalised

Kadapa: A minor girl was set on fire allegedly by a young man in Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh. She was rescued by locals after they heard the girl screaming due to the pain. The locals immediately admitted her to the hospital. The girl was reportedly sexually assaulted before she was torched on fire, said the police officials.

According to the police, the rape survivour is studying in a intermediate college in Dastagiriamma Badwel town. It was her parents who alleged that a youngster by name Vignesh might be behind the incident. The police has launched an investigation, and trying to look into the matter through all possible angles.
