The Plot And Setting Of Devara
The plot of the movie is said to be set in the 1980s and 1990s and revolves around a the events that take place on a group of fictional coastal islands. Jr NTR plays the dual roles of father and son Devara and Varadha who protect people of these islands from a group of villains who are out to harm and exploit them. Saif Ali Khan plays the primary antagonist Bhaira. Janhvi Kapoor, in her Telugu debut, plays the female lead named Thangam.
