Anchor: Welcome the audience. Hello/ good morning, respected Principal, teachers, staff members and dear friends. Today, we have gathered to celebrate one of the most loved festivals in India- Dussehra. Navratri or Dussehra signifies the victory of good over evil and it teaches us to have faith and courage in life. Dussehra marks the end of Navratri and is celebrated in various ways across India. It makes us remember Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. The festival reminds us to always stand up against evil and injustice, no matter how daunting the challenge may seem.
One can use this space to mention about the significance of the characters. One can mention about several key characters like Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, and Ravana. One can mention about qualities of each characters.
Continue… To celebrate this, we have prepared a special program for you today. My fellow classmates will present a short skit on the significance of Dussehra.
