Dubai’s Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum is set to launch a new perfume line named "Divorce" under her brand, Mahra M1. The 30-year-old daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum teased the product on Instagram earlier this week, unveiling a sleek black bottle engraved with the word "Divorce." The announcement follows a teaser video released a day prior, featuring symbolic imagery of broken glass, black petals, and a black panther.
The launch comes just weeks after Sheikha Mahra publicly announced her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, on Instagram. In a bold post, the Dubai princess declared, “Dear husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.” The couple had tied the knot in May 2023 and welcomed their first child just two months before the divorce announcement.

The "Divorce" perfume is part of Sheikha Mahra’s expanding business ventures. She is one of 26 children of Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president, prime minister, and minister of defence of the UAE, whose net worth is estimated to be between $14 and $18 billion. Sheikha Mahra’s mother, Zoe Grigorakos, is of Greek origin and divorced from Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum. The Dubai princess remains active on Instagram, where she frequently shares updates with her 9.8 lakh followers.
