Amid President-elect Donald Trump's visit to New York City on Saturday, rumours surfaced that the 78-year-old could attend the UFC 309 at the Madison Square Garden. UFC President Dana White, a longtime friend of Trump, only added fuel to the speculations saying that "anything is possible."
The Trump team did not reveal what the purpose of his NYC visit was. However, two sources familiar with the President-elect's plan told Fox News that Trump would attend the UFC event at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Dana White said that Trump is a "big fan" of the sport. "Well, I think that anything is possible," White said. "He's a big fan. Who knows? He could pop in,"
Notably, Madison Square Garden is the exact place where Trump held one of his biggest campaign rallies on October 27.
