Amid the controversy between Divya Khossla and Alia Bhatt over their films Savi and Jigra, Divya has now directly named and posted a scathing attack on Alia via her social media account. The actor and director has claimed that Alia herself bought tickets for her film and presented an inflated box office number.

Divya took the internet by surprise by taking a jab at Alia. Sharing a photo of an empty theater, Divya called out Alia and claimed that while the makers are showing a certain box office number, the theatres are running empty. Without mincing her words, she wrote, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra Х (sic).”
The actress accused the team of inflating the box office numbers of the movie as well as buying tickets themselves. The claims are very big and Divya's story will definitely raise a few eyebrows in the industry regarding fake collections and ticket bookings by producers. At the time of filing the story, Alia or Team Jigra have not reacted to Diyva’s allegations.

This feud is caused by Divya’s claim that the storylines of Savi and Jigra are way too similar. Speaking about the similarities in the plot, Divya told IANS: “Yes, I too have been getting this question a lot from the media, the industry and the trade that Savi and Jigra are seeming very similar, the plot and everything. Well, I would just like to say that with the love of the audience and the grace of God that Savi has proved its worth totally on its own merits.”
