did robert f kennedy jr once have 40+ 'mistresses' in his contacts? report says 'yes, he did...'

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent figure in American politics and environmental law, once maintained a list of up to 43 rumored mistresses in his cellphone, according to revelations from 2014. Mary Richardson, his late second wife, mistook the list, alphabetized under the letter "G," for "goomar," an Italian slang word for mistress, according to The New York Post's latest report.

Cheryl Hines, an actress most known for her performance in "Curb Your Enthusiasm," was among the women on Kennedy's list. Hines married Kennedy later that year at the Kennedy family estate in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Despite allegations of adultery and Kennedy's problematic background, Hines has not publicly responded to news that her husband was sexting New York magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi earlier this year. Sources close to Hines, on the other hand, have supported her, claiming that she is a strong woman who would not allow such conduct. "She has a backbone. "She's not a little housewife at home," a source told Page Six.

Mary Richardson, Kennedy's second wife, committed suicide in 2012. Before her death, she told associates that Kennedy frequently used aliases during his extramarital affairs, with "Robert Strong" being his favored pseudonym. She also disclosed that Kennedy's phone list included multiple entries for ladies from a variety of places, including Toronto, Paris, Palm Beach, Pensacola, Miami and Cleveland. Some entries were differentiated by occupations or locales, such as "airplane," "farm," and "teacher." One lady was alluded to cryptically as "Z," the Post reported.

Kennedy had several relationships with women across multiple locations, with at least five interactions identified in Toronto alone. Chelsea Chapman Kirwan, one of the women on the list, was associated to Kennedy during his divorce from renowned cosmetic surgeon Lawrence Kirwan.

In addition to the phone list, Kennedy chronicled his adulterous affairs in personal journals, which were discovered after Mary Richardson's death. In 2001, Kennedy acknowledged to fighting with "lust demons" and indicated that the journals served as a tool for self-reflection and coping with his spiritual difficulties at the time, the report by the Post said.

When challenged in 2014 with the existence of these journals, Kennedy first disputed their validity, reacting with several seconds of surprised silence before declaring that he did not have a 2001 diary and had no more comment.

Kennedy's love life came back into the limelight this year, when accusations surfaced that he had been sexting writer Olivia Nuzzi, who had interviewed him for New York magazine in November 2023. Nuzzi, who has since left the publication, denied having a physical relationship with Kennedy. Kennedy's spokeswoman also denied any improper relationship, claiming that he only met Nuzzi once, during the interview.

Kennedy, 70, called off his 2024 presidential candidacy last month and embraced former President Donald Trump. His contentious love past, however, continues to plague him, with his romances and personal life constantly making headlines.
