Donald Trump apparently passed gas- possibly more than once – as he addressed thousands at a campaign event in Detroit, Michigan on Thursday. Videos of the former president speaking on the stage went viral on social media. In the background, users said they could hear 'farting' noises. Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel also played a clip for his audience.
Kimmel first played a video of Trump falsely claiming that schools are forcing sex-change operations on children. "They take your child, it was a he and comes back a she, and they do this, and they do it, and often without parental consent," the Republican presidential nominee could be heard saying.

Jimmy Kimmel quickly offered a fact-check. "No school has ever changed a boy into a girl. We’re supposed to believe the same schools that make you sign a permission slip for your kids to go to the planetarium are taking them for sex-change operations. This is not a thing!" he said.
The late night host then said that the presidential candidates should focus on 'real problems'. "Like the fact that the Republican nominee for president is letting gas on stage," Kimmel said.

“That’s our founding farter right there,” Kimmel said. “That’s our Mayor McCut-The-Cheese.” He also called the former president 'Old Gassolini'.

However, social media users are still wondering if Trump farted on stage. "Trump farts or shits his pants during a media event. Fantastic. Let’s give him the launch codes to our nuclear arsenal," one person said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
