New Delhi: The Delhi traffic police issued an advisory on Tuesday to ease the commute for drivers. According to the advisory, a trial run will be conducted for two weeks starting September 11, during which buses and trucks will be diverted to avoid using Hanuman Setu. As a result, traffic will be affected on Mahatma Gandhi Marg and Outer Ring Road.

2. Commuters coming from ITO/Salimgarh Bypass Towards ISBT Kashmiri Gate: Salimgarh Bypass – Keep extreme right for Service Road along with Hanuman Setu – Turn left under Hanuman Setu – Turn right along with Hanuman Setu Service Road – Merge on Ring Road – ISBT Kashmiri Gate.

The Delhi traffic authorities have announced the closure of a key section of the service road on NH-48, stretching from the Dwarka Link Road merging point to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump. This closure will be in effect for the next two months due to ongoing repairs by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
''In view of the safety of commuters, the Service Road on NH-48, from NSG Office to Mahipalpur Petrol Pump has been closed for repair for the next 60 days. As a result, the traffic will remain affected from Gurugram to Mahipalpur, '' the traffic advisory issued on Tuesday further read.
