Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for residents and motorists in preparation for the ‘Run for Inclusion’ event organised by Special Olympic Bharat, scheduled to take place in Chanakyapuri on November

9. This inclusive run, featuring participants both with and without intellectual disabilities, aims to promote unity and awareness. The event will see around 10,000 participants gathering for the run, which is set to begin at 7:00 AM and conclude by 10:00 AM.

Route Details and Traffic Restrictions

The run will start from the Civil Services/NDMC Officer’s Club (Football Stadium) and follow a route that includes Vinay Marg, Niti Marg, and Satya Marg, ultimately returning to the starting point. Due to the expected crowd, several traffic restrictions will be enforced to ensure safety and smooth conduct of the event:

1. R/A Samrat: Traffic will not be allowed on Panchsheel Marg toward R/A Niti-Panchsheel Marg.

2. R/A SHP-PSL: No traffic will be permitted on Panchsheel Road toward R/A Niti Marg-Panchsheel.

3. R/A SHP-Satya Marg: Traffic will not be allowed on Satya Marg toward R/A Niti Marg-Satya Marg.

4. R/A SHP-Niti Marg: Traffic will not be allowed on Niti Marg toward R/A Niti Marg-Satya Marg.

5. R/A Leela Hotel: Traffic will not be allowed on Africa Avenue Marg toward Yashwant Palace.

Suggested Alternate Routes

For commuters to avoid disruptions, the Delhi Traffic Police recommends using Kautilya Marg and Shantipath as alternate routes.
