Bollywood star Deepika Padukone purchased a Mumbai flat worth Rs 17.73 crore, just days after welcoming her baby girl, said a latest report. The apartment is situated beside her mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani's home in Bandra West.
The high-end property bought by the actress and her father Prakash Padukone's company KA Enterprises LLP is situated in the Sagar Resham Housing Society, close to the famous Bandstand. Deepika has invested Rs 17.78 crore in the luxurious apartment spanning approximately 1,846 square feet according to the documents accessed by Square Yards.
The new property, located in Mumbai's Bandra West, also includes a dedicated parking spot. To complete the purchase, DP paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.07 crore and registration fees of Rs. 30,000.

Interestingly, Anju Bhavnani, Ranveer Singh's mother and Deepika Padukone's mother-in-law, acquired an adjacent apartment for Rs 19.13 crore. This 1,822.45 square-foot property, bought in September, comes with one parking space and paid a stamp duty of Rs 95.68 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Besides, Zapkey reported that Ranveer Singh's companies, RS Filmcraft and Oh Five Oh Talent LLP, have rented an apartment next to his current property from his mother, Anju Bhavnani, effective September 5, 2024. The lease agreement sets the monthly rent at Rs 8.20 lakh for the first 33 months, and then increases by 15% to Rs 9.43 lakh per month for the next 22 months.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer's next film, Singham Again, is set to release on Diwali 2024. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie also features Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. Ranveer has also revealed a new project alongside Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Additionally, he will star in Farhan Akhtar's highly-anticipated Don 3.
