New Delhi: A woman, 28, allegedly killed her partner, and went to the police to confess her crime. The woman told officials at a local police station in Bhalswa Dairy that the man she murdered used to beat her frequently. After which, the police followed her to the woman’s apartment, and found a dead body lying on the ground. The police initiated an investigation, while an inspection was held by crime team and FSL.

The woman told the police that she had killed one of her known persons at her residence, said a report by Times of India. She admitted using a grinding stone, hammer and a knife to kill the man, who had threatened to kill her, and her children. On the day of the incident, the man reached the woman's apartment in a drunken state.

At 1.30 pm on Monday, the man started harassing and mistreating her. This triggered the woman, and she hit the man on his head with a griding stone. Then she used hammer and knife, leading to his death. The police has registered a case under section 103 (1) murder of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Man was Married with Someone Else

Upon investigation, the police found out that the man, who was a plumber by profession, was married, and had one child. However, he was in relationship with the accused woman for the past two years. Meanwhile, the accused woman had lost her husband in 2018. Since then she had been living in Mukundpur with her one daughter and three sons.

What the Police found on the Scene

A police team rushed to the spot, and found a dead body on the ground floor of the back room. They said the blood was splattered everywhere. Meanwhile, the objects that the woman said she used for the alleged murder was also available at the crime scene.
