Dwayne Bravo, who is a legend for CSK in IPL, has announced his retirement from the Caribbean Premier League (CPL ). The all-rounder, who has been a cornerstone of the CPL since its inception, will play his final season in the 2024 edition.
Bravo, known affectionately as "DJ Bravo," has had an illustrious career in the CPL. He is the tournament's all-time leading wicket-taker and has captained his teams to three championships. In total, Bravo has won five CPL titles, cementing his status as one of the greatest players in the competition's history.
“It’s been a great journey and I’m looking forward to playing my final professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. TKR is the place where everything started for me and will end with my team.” – Bravo penned down an emotional note via his social media.

Throughout his CPL journey, Bravo has amassed an impressive record. In 103 matches, he has scored 1155 runs and taken 128 wickets, solidifying his position as one of the most complete all-rounders in the competition. Even at the age of 40, Bravo continues to contribute significantly to his team, and there is still a possibility that he could add to his tally before the season ends.
