Days before Team India board the flight to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), Virat Kohli made a rare social media appearence. The former India skipper took to both X and Instagram to make a 'fresh announcement' which went viral on the internet in no time.
Kohli made the post to announce his partnership with a new company named 'Sporting Beyond,' who will be working with the Indian cricket legend on his business interests. For those unversed, ex-Indian head coach Ravi Shastri is a director in the company.
However, Kohli's fan left fans shell-shocked, who admitted fearing the worse when the post appeared on their screens. Many recalled the 36-year-old's social media post when he resigned as India's Test captain in January 2022.

Virat Kohli's Fight For Redemption In Australia
Virat Kohli will head to Australia in the hopes of regaining his status as one of the best Test batters in world cricket after falling out of the Top 20 of the ICC rankings for the first time in a decade. The ex-Indian skipper had a nightmare series against New Zealand where he scored just 93 runs in six innings at an average of 15.5 with just one half-century.
Kohli's poor display with the bat was one of the biggest reasons behind India's 3-0 defeat in the series. This is the first instance of an Indian team being whitewashed in a home Test series of three or more matches in history.
