On September 18, a video of Nagarjuna shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie in Visakhapatnam leaked online.
The actor, who plays Simon in the film headlined by Rajinikanth, can be seen involved in fight scenes. The video of it was captured by a bystander and leaked online.
Nagarjuna's fight scene leaked from Coolie
In a video doing rounds on X (formerly Twitter), Nagarjuna can be seen dressed in a white suit and thrashing a man. One video seems to have been shot from a distance, which sees the actor in an intense action scene. Another video taken shows him threaten a man before striking him with a hammer. The video, also features an audio track with a crew member narrating Tamil lines to Nagarjuna.
Lokesh Kanagaraj irked by leaked scene from Coolie
Following the leak, Director Lokesh Kanagaraj issued a statement on social media, requesting people not to indulge in such practices. He stated that leaking videos from a film set puts the hard work of many people in vain.
"Two months of hard work by many people have gone in vain because of one recording. I humbly request everyone not to engage in such practices, as they spoil the overall experience. Thank you," Lokesh wrote on X.

The film's music is by Anirudh Ravichander. The cinematography is handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
Coolie is scheduled to release worldwide in 2025 in IMAX formats as well.
