Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Shajohn's recently-released investigative thriller film CID Ramachandran Retd SI will be streaming on ManoramaMAX from September 20, according to an announcement from its makers and the official social media handles of the streaming platform recently. The film's team took to their social media on September 19, Thursday, to release a poster of the film along with the announcement.

More About The Film
The film, which released theatrically on May 17, has been directed by debutant Sanoop Sathyan. The investigative thriller also stars actors Anumol Baiju Santhosh, Sudheer Karamana, Indrans, VK Baij and Prem Kumar, among others. CID Ramachandran Retd SI has been jointly scripted by Sanoop and Aneesh V Sivadas. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Joe Christo Xavier and editor Lijo Paul. The film has music by Anu and background score by Anto Francis. CID Ramachandran Retd SI is produced by AD 1877 Pictures and Sense Launch Entertainment. The film was a dark horse among a series of big ticket releases, and was well-received by both critics and the audience alike.

Kalabhavan Shajohn was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Nagendran's Honeymoons starring Suraj Venjaramoodu in the titular role. Up next, the actor has a major release in the pipeline, the Tamil film Petta Rap, headlined by Prabhu Deva, which is slated to hit theatres on September 27. Written by Dinil PK, the upcoming film marks the Tamil directorial debut of SJ Sinu, who previously helmed Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021).
