Indian Institute of Management Common Admission Test, IIM CAT 2024 registration will close today, September 13, 2024. Interested candidates who have not yet applied should get themselves registered at earliest at official website iimcat.ac.in. IIM Calcutta is scheduled to conduct the Common Admission Test on last Sunday of November, i.e. November 24. Following the schedule, CAT exam will be conducted in three sessions between 8.30am and 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm, and 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
IIM CAT 2024 Syllabus, Fee, Age Limit and More
- CAT 2024 Application fee: Students belonging to SC/ST and PwD category will have to pay Rs.1250 and all other category candidates have to pay Rs.2,500 as application fee.
- CAT Syllabus: Candidates will have to excel in three sections – verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA).
- CAT 2024 Eligibility- To be eligible to apply, candidates should have completed graduation from any stream. However, candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination and those who are awaiting results can also apply for the exam.

IIM CAT 2024: Steps to register online
- Visit the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in
- On homepage click on 'New Candidate Registration' and then on register tab
- On the redirected page, enter name, date of birth, email ID, mobile phone number and nationality
- Click on 'Generate OTP' tab and verify registration
- Upload required documents and pay application fee (as per criteria mentioned above)
- Cross-check the details and submit the form
- Take its printout for future references
Common Admission Test is a national-level exam conducted annually for admission to postgraduate and fellow/doctorate level Business courses offered by Indian Institute of Managements.
