ARMY couldn't help but bring up how V looked like an exact replica of his father. "Tae is literally a carbon copy of papa Kim," one fan wrote another. Another added, "Whatever genes the Kim bloodline has been carrying down from Taehyung’s dad to Taehyung has got to be one of the craziest and strongest I've ever seen. They must have been copying and pasting for generations," while a third joked, "Taehyung's father genes didn't hold back one bit."

On the work front

Before enlisting for military service, V made his solo debut with Layover in September last year. The album consisted of six songs, with Slow Dancing as its lead single. The singer also dropped a collaborative track with UMI and the solo single FRI(END)S. Additionally, he appeared in IU’s Love wins all music video. On July 9, V released his first self-produced photobook TYPE 1, as a gift for ARMY.
