Desi AMRY, we finally have a release date for JUNGKOOK: I AM STILL! BTS star Jungkook’s solo documentary is set to hit the big screens across the nation over the upcoming weekend.

Jungkook's I AM STILL gets a release date in India

Taking to Instagram, PVR INOX Pictures announced that Jungkook’s highly-awaited solo documentaryI AM STILL will be screening across India, for a limited time period, between September 21 and 22. “ARMYs, brace yourselves! Jungkook’s I Am Still is set to dazzle the big screen! Don’t miss out! Limited release on September 21-22,” the post read. While the release date has finally been revealed, ticket bookings are yet to open on Book My Show’s official website.

For the unversed, JUNGKOOK: I AM STILL is the BTS maknae’s first solo documentary. The film, which has been directed by Jun-soo Park, promises interviews, never-before-seen footage and concert performances to provide insight into the rise of ‘global popstar’ Jungkook. Ahead ofI AM STILL‘s release, the singer’s label have been releasing a bunch of preview teasers and behind-the-scenes pictures.

Prior to Jungkook, three members (J-hope, Suga, Jimin) had released their solo documentaries. RM is also set to release his first documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, The BTS leader's docu-film will premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival on October 7, following which it will hit the big screens.

On the work front

After making his solo debut in July 2023 with Seven and dropping his first solo album, Jungkook enlisted to complete his mandatory military on December 12. The BTS star is expected to be discharged from the military in June 2025. Recently, Jungkook released Never Let Go in celebration of BTS’ 11th debut anniversary.
