Fans are super excited to see their favourite K-pop singer Jin as an actor and he has now shared his honest thoughts on it. Jin recently appeared on an episode of LeeMujin Service and talked about his plans to join and pursue an acting career.
During the LeeMujin Service episode, Jin spoke about how he wanted to be an actor, and that he majored in theater and film at university.
Jin to take on the acting path?
When asked if he wanted to be an actor in his early life, the BTS member replied, "I wished to become an actor but my parents wanted to go to the university at first."
Later, Lee Mujin asked him whether he still wanted to pursue an acting career, to which the BTS member replied, "Not at all. One of the reasons I wanted to be an actor was the variety of experiences I thought it would entail. But as an idol, I was able to live through all those, so that dream is now forgotten."
I am happy as a singer, idol: Jin
"I am happy as a singer," he added with a bright smile on his face.
Here's how the ARMY reacted to the singer's answers:
“I really wanted to become an actor then because I hadn’t tried being an actor or an idol singer then. In the end though, for me, being a singer and an idol is such a lovely and fun job. The dreams I once had of becoming an actor are now forgotten. I’m happy as a singer.” 🥺 pic.twitter.com/Vm4ZXbOpgu

During his appearance on the show, he also talked about how he wants to keep performing with his group until he is old. When asked about how he thinks his life would be 10 or 20 years from now, he excitedly said, "I want to be on stage when I’m 50."
On the work front, Jin's Happy tops this week’s new music poll.
Music fans voted in a poll published last week on Billboard, choosing the BTS member’s debut EP as their favorite new music release of the past week.
