BTS' Jimin turns a year older today! While the singer wasn't able to thank fans, who have been showering him with love and warm wishes, through a livestream, he made sure to greet them with a special letter.

BTS' Jimin pens heartfelt note on his birthday

Taking to Weverse, Jimin penned a sweet note for fans on his special day. “Everyone, ARMY! When will I get the chance to stand in front of you and shout this? I miss you, I miss youuuuuu,” he started off the letter.

Hoping that ARMY are happy despite BTS' absence, the Like Crazy singer wrote, “It’s a long time passing by, isn’t it? What does it feel like to ARMYs? Long or short? I wonder what kind of days you guys are spending? Wouldn’t the time that you’re waiting for us become tiring? While I worry about that, I also hope that you guys are just spending the times with just happy things Because you must only (experience happiness)!”

As for Jimin, life has been going too slow as well as too fast. "I was frantically adjusting (to the military) and before I knew it, it's already my birthday! But it feels like time really flew by, but also it feels like its been slowly crawling by," he wrote, before stating, "If I look back at it, it seems fast but if I look forward it seems slow."

Thanking ARMY for the birthday wishes, the singer added, "How much luck do I have, that I'm receiving birthday wishing while in the military. I don't know when I can pay all of this back. Once I leave (the military), I'll do anything to repay you. So please just wait a little bit for me. I won't forget this precious day. ARMY, who are the most precious in the entire world, I love you."

On the work front

Jimin dropped his second solo album MUSE on July 19. The album, which documents the BTS star’s journey in search of the source of his inspiration, included seven new songs. While Smeraldo Garden Marching Band was released as a pre-release track, Who was the album’s lead single.
