Introduction
The Austrian Manufacturer Brixton Motorcycles has recently launched the Brixton Crossfire 500 X, with a more relaxed fashion than its sister model, the Brixton Crossfire 500 XC. It is a cafe racer introduced with a neo-retro design, rejuvenating performance and style.
Price
Brixton Motorcycles has launched four neo-retro motorcycles in 500cc and 1200cc ranges. The Brixton Crossfire 500 X has been launched at a price of Rs 4.74 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine and Mileage
Brixton Crossfire 500 X features a 486cc, inline two-cylinder engine that produces 46.9 bhp @8500 rpm and 43 Nm torque @ 6750 rpm, surpassing to become one of the best in A2 segment. Its power to adjust according to high and low rpm ranges enables flexible throttle response. Mated with a six-speed gearbox, it delivers a claimed mileage of 35 kmpl.
Suspension and Chassis
Built with the elements from Japanese suspension manufacturer Kayaba/KYB, the Brixton Crossfire 500 X claims to offer maximum grip in every driving condition. Engineered with MT60 scrambler tires from Pirelli, it claims a hassle-free ride on any terrain. Moreover, the kerb weight of the bike stands at 190 kg which is lighter than the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Features
The new Brixton Crossfire 500 X is equipped with a round shaped LC-display which enables a track of speed, RPM, fuel, battery charge and displays gear indicator, odometer, high beam, turn signal, etc. Additionally, it also features daytime running lights, high beams and discreet direction indicators for optimum illumination.
