The meme was a dig at LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka, who was caught on camera having an animated discussion with Rahul after the team lost against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024. The incident sparked speculations about the detoriating relationship between the two. The 2021 finalists eventually did not retain their then-captain ahead of the 2025 season. They also did not use their RTM card.
