BMW India is all set to launch its new adventure motorcycles, the F900 GS and F900 GS Adventure. The brand has been posting actively sharing teaser content on its social media platforms, hitting that these models are about to launch.
The BMW F900 GS series has been available in International markets for some time, and its specifications are well-known. Both models are powered by an 895cc twin-cylinder engine, delivering 105 bhp at 8500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6750 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycles come equipped with a host of advanced features including multiple riding modes, power modes, traction control, ABS, a bi-directional quick shifter and a large 6.5-inch colour TFT display.
While the F900 GS is designed for off-road adventures with its robust spoke wheels and minimal bodywork, the F900 GS Adventure is tailored for long-distance touring. The Adventure variant boasts a larger fuel tank and an adjustable suspension system, enhancing its touring capabilities compared to the base model.
Considering the recent surge of teasers from BMW India, it appears that the F900 GS range could be making its debut in the near future. Once launched, these models are expected to compete with the Triumph Tiger 900 and are projected to be priced around Rs. 13 lakh (ex-showroom). This new addition to BMW's lineup promises to bring exciting options for adventure and touring enthusiasts in India.
