Bigg Boss 18 premiere is just a few days away. Salman Khan will be back to host the show on October 6 with a new set of contestants. The latest buzz suggests that one of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's (TMKOC) fan favorites, Gurucharan Singh, aka the OG Sodhi, might be gearing up to enter the BB house. That’s right, folks – the fun-loving, ever-cheerful Gurucharan could soon be stirring the pot in the nation's most-watched reality show. But wait, there’s more drama brewing!

Reports are swirling that another TMKOC veteran, the iconic Disha Vakani – yes, the Dayaben herself – was approached to join Bigg Boss 18. And get this: she was reportedly offered a jaw-dropping Rs 65 crore. However, Disha has apparently declined the offer. Dayaben has decided that no amount of garba in the BB house is worth the chaos.
Gurucharan Singh: The New Housemate?
Back to Gurucharan Singh. According to reports, the makers of Bigg Boss are eyeing him especially now because of his recent controversy. For those who've come in late, Gurucharan Singh's father had filed a missing complaint for him on April 25 this year. Later, an FIR was lodged under Section 365 (abduction) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). His family said that the actor was supposed to catch a flight to Mumbai from Delhi at 8:30 am on April 22. His friend, Ms Soni, was waiting for him at Mumbai airport but he never came out nor did he return home. His phone had also been switched off since then. After almost a month, he returned home and revealed that he had gone off to a Gurudwara on a spiritual journey.
Gurucharan was also approached for Bigg Boss OTT and Bigg Boss 15 but things did not work out that time.

Disha Vakani: Why She Said No!
As for Disha Vakani, the million-dollar question (or should we say Rs 65 crore question) is—why did she turn down such a massive offer? For someone who has stayed away from the limelight for a while now, returning to TV on a grand platform like Bigg Boss seemed like the perfect comeback. In fact, the amount offered to Disha to participate in Bigg Boss is reportedly the highest fee ever proposed to a celebrity in the history of the show. As of now, there has been no official statement from the actress.

Maybe Disha wasn’t too keen on the high-voltage drama that comes with being a part of Bigg Boss. But it would've been cool to see Dayaben in the Bigg Boss house, performing garba to cool down arguments, and unleashing her famous “Hey Maa, Mataji!” in the middle of heated confrontations.
Talking about her stint on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Disha decided to depart from the show in 2017 after her maternity break.
