Ashish Vidyarthi is a veteran actor who has impressed the audience with his amazing acting skills for so many years. Known for his versatile performances on screen, he has also created a fanbase the foodies with his culinary adventures. In recent years, the actor has started food vlogging in which he explores delicacies from different regions of the country and also introduces his fans to the lesser-known eateries. Sharing about his gastronomic journey, Ashish Vidyarthi in a podcast revealed his favourite eating spots in different parts of India.

When the host asked the actor to recommend three things to the viewers that one can try in the country based on his experience of food vlogging, Ashish revealed some of his favourite dishes and eateries that are a must try. He starts with Kolkata and says, "the food of Kolkata is amazing." He asks the audience to start the day in Kolkata with club kachori and recommends Maharaja (Chhangani Pappi Maharaj, located in Bara Bazar, Nimbutalla) and Sharma Tea Stall (in Bhawanipur), two popular eateries to savour the dish. For a wholesome lunch in Kolkata, he asked the audience to try biryani from Arsalan Restaurant and Hanglaatherium (in Lake Gardens).

Next, he reveals his all-time favourite eatery in India and guess what it is none other than the iconic Vidyarthi Bhavan in Bengaluru. Established in 1943, this vegetarian restaurant is known to serve authentic Kannada food. It was started by Mr. Venkataramana Ural as a small canteen for students at nearby schools but later it became very popular among foodies from across the country who visit Bengaluru.

Moving to the Southern parts, Ashish recommends another of his favourite birayni spots which is in Palakkad, Kerela. The restaurant is called Hasis Kitchen and is renowend for its genuine Thalassery dum biriyani, tasty fish curry meals and other mouthwatering non-vegetarian dishes. Now when it comes to Himachal Pradesh he suggests the audience to try parathe at Chachu Da Dhaba which is in Barog and finally in Chandigarh, Pashtun Restaurant is his favourite place to enjoy a perfect plate of raan.
