Bangalore School Holiday Today Live: Schools in several regions of Bangalore, Udupi and other cities of Karnataka are closed today, October 21 due to Bangalore weather. The respective district administration and school authorities are notifying the school holiday due to heavy rainfall and waterlogging. Several schools have informed the students and parents via internal communication. It is advised to contact the school authorities for updates. Along with Bengaluru, IMD has issued yellow alert for 10 districts in Karnataka.
Some private schools are also conducting online classes. As for Bangalore rain update, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rains in the city over the next two days. As per the latest forecast issued on Sunday, city will see a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain and occasional heavy thundershowers. Temperatures are expected to hover around a maximum of 26°C and a minimum of 20°C during this period.
Along with Bangalore, IMD has also issued yellow alert for 11 districts in Karnataka. The districts of Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Belagavi, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Chitradurga, Davangere, and Tumakuru are under a yellow alert till October 21 due to the forecast of heavy rainfall.
