Posting a video from the scene, one local wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter: "Warehouses or maybe one warehouse on fire!!!"

Bakersfield Fire Department Sends Resoruces To Ventura County
Only earlier this week, the Bakersfield Fire Department said it sent resources to help the Mountain Fire burning in Ventura County. BFD added that it deployed two fire engines and seven firefighters Wednesday night.

"Last night, Bakersfield Fire Department deployed two fire engines and seven firefighters to the Mountain Fire in Ventura County. On November 6, 2024 the Mountain Fire started at 9:41 am, where it is currently estimated at 14,500 acres with 0% containment. Bakersfield Fire Department has deployed resources to assist our neighbors to the south, along with multiple fire agencies across California," the fire department said in a social media post.
