October 12, 2024, came as a huge shocker when the news of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique being shot dead by three unidentified individuals in Bandra East, Mumbai, came to light. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital but was declared brought dead.

Known for throwing grand Iftaar parties every year, Baba Siddique was the main reason why the feud between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan came to an end. Not only Bollywood stars but television celebrities have been in attendance at Baba's grand iftaar parties. Munawar Faruqui, who has also been closely connected to Siddique, mourned his loss.
Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui took to his Instagram and shared a heartfelt note in the memory of Baba Siddique.
The standup comedian not only mourned Baba's loss but also called him a great leader. In his post, Faruqui writes, "Baba Bhai was a great leader and human being. Almighty, give strength to his family."
