The politician was known to throw grand Iftar parties, which used to be well-known for having attendees like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Riteish Deshmukh, Genilia Deshmukh, Emraan Hashmi, Preity Zinta, Huma Qureshi, Vijay Verma, and others. At one of his most iconic parties, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan buried their years-long hatchet and hugged each other, making it one of the most monumental moments in recent Bollywood history.

Bollywood's reaction to Baba Siddique's death
After learning the unfortunate news, Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Zaheer Iqbal and others were rushed to the hospital. The actress Shilpa Shetty was visibly shaken and broke down in tears as she met the family of NCP leader Baba Siddique.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is the son of former Maharastra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh, took to his official X account to express his sadness and wrote, “Extremely saddened and shocked beyond words to learn about the tragic demise of Shri #BabaSiddique ji. My heart goes out to @zeeshan_iyc and the entire family. May God give them strength to brave this difficult time. The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.”
