Arjun Kapoor was among the first B-town stars to express his condolences on social media. Re-posting a picture of the late Atul Parchure, the actor wrote, “I never had a chance to work him, but he always seemed to be such a likeable person no matter what role he played…”
Meanwhile, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit took to Instagram Stories to pay tribute to the actor. "Sad to know about the demise of brilliant and veteran actor @parchureatul. It's a great loss to the theater and cinema world. Heartfelt condolences to the family and near ones," he wrote.

Boman Irani also remembered Atul Parchure following his untimely demise. "Saddened to hear about the passing of Atul Parchure. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones," he wrote.

Atul Parchure, who had been a prominent figure in the Marathi and Bollywood film industry, died on October 14 after his health deteriorated while working on the stage show, Suryachi Pille. The 57 year old actor, who had been battling cancer for several years, reportedly experienced a relapse of the disease.

He is survived by his mother, wife and daughter, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
