Several social media users urged authorities to 'arrest' Flordia Rep Matt Gaetz after court documents filed late Thursday alleged that he attended a drug-fueled sex part with a 17-year-old in 2017. The 42-year-old had previously denied the accusations. The document claims are based on sealed affidavits from three eyewitnesses, Notus reported.
Allegations Against Matt Gaetz:
Gaetz is facing a civil lawsuit for claims that he had sex with a 17-year-old. Witnesses were interviewed by defense attorneys. In their statements, they said that a teenager arrived in her mother's car for the party, which was held at Dorworth’s Lake Mary home on July 15, 2017. She was a high school junior at the time, according to the lawsuit. The girl, identified as A.B., was allegedly provided for Gaetz and other attendees' enjoyment.

Another woman claimed that 'alcohol, cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana' were present at the party, documents add.
“The discovery taken in this case to date reflects that on Saturday, July 15, 2017 … Dorworth, hosted a party at his residence … with the following guests present: (1) A.B.; (2) K.M.; (3) B.G.; (4) Matt Gaetz,” lawyers wrote in the filing, according to Notus.

Soon after the Notus report was out, several social media users called for Matt Gaetz's arrest. "I can’t wait for Matt Gaetz arrest," one person said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
"Lock Gaetz UP! Make America safer by putting him behind bars for a while," another one added on the Elon Musk-led platform.
