Arjun Tendulkar's below-par performance has resulted in him getting dropped from the Goa cricket team for the remainder of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Arjun, who joined Mumbai Indians (MI) at his base price of Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega-auction, flopped a day before the two-day event. The left-arm pacer leaked 48 runs in his four-over spell against Mumbai. He managed to score 9 runs.
Arjun bowled well against services and only spent 19 runs in his three-over spell. He didn't get a chance to bat as Goa suffered a 22-run defeat in the chase to the target of 188.
Arjun leaked 36 runs in his 3.4 over spell as Andhra Pradesh chased down the target of 155 in just 15.4 overs. There was no place for Arjun in Goa's 15-member team for the games against Kerala and Maharashtra. With 4 defeats from as many matches, Goa are at sixth spot in the Group E points table.
