Laddu Is A Sensitive Topic: Karthi
During the event, the anchor presented a few memes on Karthi. And one of the memes happen to be on laddu – the meme says, ‘Laddu Kaavala Nayana.’ When Karthi saw the meme, sensiing the sensitivity of the laddu controversy, he said, ‘ippudu laddu gurinchi maatladakodadu (we should not talk about laddu now), sensitive topic…manakoddadi (we don’t want),” commented Karthi bringing the bringing the house down. While the anchor further prodded whether he wants Mothuchur Laddu. Karthi replied, “Laddu Vaadu.”
It looks like Karthi’s comments did not go do well with actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Pawan while addressing the media in Vijayawada expressed his anguish over Karthi’s comments on laddu. Here’s what Pawan said.

Pawan said that if people from film industry want to talk about the issue, speak up in support, else, refrain. Pawan also appealed not to mock the issue on the respective platforms because all are in deep pain.
“People are joking on laddu; yesterday I saw at a filmy function, someone said, ‘Laddu is a sensitive issue.’ “Don’t you ever dare to say that,” commented Pawan Kalyan. “I respect you as actors but when it comes to Sanathana Dharma, please, you have to think 100 times before you say a word.”
Meanwhile, many netizens have commented that Karthi hasn’t spoken anything wrong and was rather sensible enough to avoid speaking about the subject ‘laadu.’
