amid garbage row, joe biden says trump should be 'smacked in the a**' | watch

Joe Biden on Saturday took another dig at former president Donald Trump, saying the 78-year-old is someone "you'd like to smack in the a**." The President was campaigning in Pennsylvania with the election being just two days away, on November 5, Wednesday.

However, after the 81-year-old called supporters of the former president 'garbage,' it created a massive backlash on social media, especially from Trump supporters. The 'smack on the ass' comment, coming on the heels of the 'garbage' remark, is also not going down well with many Trump supporters.

As he was speaking in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Biden was discussing Trump's policies during the latter's stint at the White House.

“I know some of you guys are tempted to think he’s this macho guy …but, I’m serious, these are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the a–,” Biden said, visibly with a smile.

The octogenarian President was in Scranton, Pennsylvania – his hometown, speaking to the Carpenters Local Union 445 on behalf of the Democrats. He was joined briefly on stage by his granddaughter Natalie, daughter of his late son Beau Biden.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump hosted separate rallies in Wisconsin on Friday night, within seven miles of one another, in a final push for votes in the swing state, three days before the election day.

Notably, the former president won Wisconsin in 2016 but lost to Joe Biden in 2020. Despite praising the people of the state during his 2016 win, Trump refused to acknowledge he lost the state the following elections. He had said that it was just “one slip up” and “bad things” were happening in the state.
