The advance booking of tickets for Pushpa 2 The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, has begun with a bang on Saturday! The Sukumar directorial will release in around 12,000 screens worldwide – an indication of how massive and wide release the filmmakers have targeted. And in just 10 hours of tickets going live, Pushpa 2 reportedly sold over 54,000 tickets across the three national chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.
Over 2.5 Lakh Tickets Sold
According to Sacnilk, over 2.5 lakh tickets sold nationwide for the advance booking for Pushpa 2: The Rule across all languages. This means, the film stands at Rs 7.36 crore (Rs 12.75 crore with block seats). The Hindi version contributed Rs 3.3 crore in 2D and Rs 1.28 crore in 3D formats. Telugu 2D sales accounted to Rs 2.5 crore. The demand for tickets is steady and the Allu Arjun-starrer is set to challenge earlier records of Kalki 2898 AD and Baahubali 2 in terms of advance booking of tickets. From 2.4 lakh tickets sold, Pushpa 2 The Rule is expected to register over 5 lakh by December 4, 2024 and may pose challenge to Baahubali 2 which registered 6.5 lakh tickets in 2017.
