Alia has many friends in the industry but her best friend has always been her sister Shaheen Bhatt and her social media feed is proof.

Alia said, "She has been living with it for a very long time, moving and powering through life. I have great admiration for the way she does it, but now my response to her is that I just want her to be able to talk to me. I don’t expect her to say something immediately. All she needs is to sit next to her and hear her."

Alia recalled that Shaheen was clinically diagnosed with depression and shared that the symptoms of her condition began to manifest at a young age.

The two share a very special bond, they are often spotted together at lunches, dinners, and premieres. Shaheen was the one who shared many inside pictures from Alia-Ranbir's intimate wedding.
