Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sister-in-law Shrima Rai slammed trolls for claiming that she has been using the actress’ name to gain popularity. The former beauty queen is now a content creator on social media. Netizens speculated that the sisters-in-law don’t share a warm relationship after Shrima’s comment on an old post went viral.
Amid rumours of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s divorce, the latter’s sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda and brother-in-law Nikhil Nanda sent flowers to Shrima who in turn gave them a shoutout on Instagram.

Shrima added, “I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down. For this my husband, mother in law and parents can vouch for that. As a mother it is extremely important to me that facts are clear when my name is involved.”
