The Pakistan Cricket Team created history during the 2nd T20I against Zimbabwe at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Tuesday (December 3) by defeating Zimbabwe by 10 wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Sufiyan Muqeem was the star of the show with a world record spell that saw him take five wickets and concede just three runs in 2.4 overs which ensured that the home team were bowled out for just 57. The hosts won the toss and chose to bat and made a quick start with a 37-run opening partnership but had a dramatic collapse and lost 10 wickets in 20 runs.
In reply, Pakistan chased the target in just 5.3 overs and won the match by 10 wickets as Saim Ayub and Omair Yusuf stayed unbeaten on the crease.

The record for the quickest run-chase by a fulll member nation team belongs to England, who chased a total with 101 balls remaining but it came against Oman (associate nation) in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The only other run chase by a Test playing team than Pakistan's was by Sri Lanka (90 balls left) against Netherlands in the 2014 T20 World Cup.
Zimbabwe's total of 57 was also the lowest by them in T20Is and the fourth worst by a full member nation.
