Ingredients
1 1/2 cups bajra flour, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, a pinch of hing, 1/2 tsp ajwain, 1/2 tsp salt, water, 1/2 cup onion, 1/2 cup tomato, 1/2 cup onion, 1/2 cup paneer, 2 tbsp sesame seeds, 2 tbsp coriander, oil
Step 1
Start by mixing bajra flour, wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, ajwain, and salt in a large bowl. Mix the spices evenly and ensure that the spices are well combined.
Step 2
Now, add water to the bajra mixture and mix evenly with the help of a spoon. Ensure that the batter is lump-free. Prepare a smooth batter by mixing it for 5-7 minutes.
Step 3
Allow the batter to rest for some time or until the mixture is ready for cooking. Next, heat oil in a pan and pour the prepared bajra flour batter into it. Spread the batter slowly and prepare a thin base.
Step 4
Add oil to the sides of the pudla and allow it to cook properly. Ensure that both sides are crisp and the base is cooked well. Roast both sides and flip over.
Step 5
Once the pudla is cooked properly and highlights brown spots in the centre, transfer it to a serving plate and serve hot with chutney or raita for a delightful breakfast dish.
