Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2024 Admit Cards are expected to be released soon. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will be conducting CTET December 2024 examination on December 14 across various cities in the country. Ahead of the examination, CTET admit cards will be released by the board. Check the tentative dates for the release of admit card as well as the city intimation slip.

Candidates may please note that the CTET Exam Date was revised from December 1 to December 15. Following representations received by the candidates, CBSE then revised the exam dates to December 14, 2024. The board has also informed that in case a particular city has many applicants, the exam would also be conducted on December 15 in a few cities.

CBSE is expected to first release the city intimation slip as well as the exam date about 10 days ahead of the examination. As for the admit cards, the central board is likely to release the same about four days before the examination. Tentative dates for release are provided below.

CTET examination is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in central government run schools in the country. This includes Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, etc. The exam has two papers – Paper 1 for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8.

CTET is now valid for a lifetime. Also, many private schools as well as state government schools also accept CTET as a valid TET qualifier for teaching roles.
