ohio police launch investigation into michigan vs ohio state post-game brawl

The disturbing incident in which Michigan players were pepper-sprayed on the field following their victory against the Buckeyes has prompted Ohio State University Police (OSUPD) to launch an investigation. The altercation began when Ohio State players physically confronted several Wolverines players who had planted their school flag on the field after Michigan’s 13-10 win over the Buckeyes.

Videos of the incident quickly surfaced on social media, showing officers spraying pepper spray into the air as players clashed at midfield. Michigan players were later seen on the sidelines, clutching one another and apparently unable to see after being affected by the spray.

At least one officer was confirmed to be injured and hospitalized, though it remains unclear whether the injury was caused by the effects of the pepper spray.
