Tata Motors today announced the inauguration of its 6th Re.Wi.Re vehicle scrapping facility in India. Located in Pune, the new facility has the annual capacity to scrap 21,000 end-of-life vehicles. The registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) will be operated by Tata International Vehicle Applications (TIVA) and will be able to scrap passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands.

Re.Wi.Re Can Scrap Commercial And Passenger Vehicles
The Re.Wi.Re vehicle scrapping facility has been purpose-built to dismantle end-of-life commercial and passenger vehicles using environmentally friendly practices. Five Re.Wi.Re facilities are already operating in Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Surat, Bhubaneshwar, and Jaipur.
All Tata Motors Re.Wi.Re facilities are fully digitized and run on paperless operations. They are equipped with line-type and cell-type dismantling of commercial and passenger vehicles. There are dedicated stations that can safely dismantle various components such as tyres, batteries, fuel, oils, liquids, and gases.

Safe Disposal Of All Components
At each Re.Wi.Re vehicle scrapping facility, every vehicle goes through detailed documentation and dismantling procedure. These processes are designed in sync with the rules and regulations under India's vehicle scrappage policy and ensure the safe disposal of all components.
