Australia's Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Tim Watts' Instagram post featuring ace India batter Virat Kohli has become the toast of social media over the last two days. Quite a few Australian ministers and esteemed personalities were seen clicking and posting pictures with him after the Indian team met Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Albanese on Thursday hosted a reception for the travelling Indian cricket team ahead of its two-two-day pink ball practice game against PM's XI in Canberra from November 30.
On his social media account, Watts was visibly excited at meeting Kohli. He mentioned that he supports the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League because of Kohli.

The pink-ball practice match will take place at the Manuka Oval and will serve as good preparation for the day-night Test in Adelaide on December 6.
India recorded their biggest victory on Australian soil when they hammered the hosts by 295 runs in the opening match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth. Kohli scored his 81st international hundred in the game, his 30th Test century.

After the protocol, India captain Rohit Sharma introduced all his teammates to Albanese, who praised the heroes of the first Test, including ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Kohli.
The PM's XI led by Jack Edwards called on Albanese as well. Cricket diplomacy is a part of India-Australia relations. Albanese, with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, had met players of both sides during a Test in Ahmedabad last year when the Aussie Prime Minister was in India on an official visit.
