Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be one of the franchises to watch out for in the IPL 2025 mega-auction. The Lucknow-based franchise released its captain, KL Rahul and he will enter an auction for the first time since 2018. LSG had picked Rahul for a huge sum of Rs 17 crore before the IPL 2022 mega-auction. He led the franchise in three seasons.
LSG retained Nicholas Pooran for a huge sum of Rs 21 crore. Pooran looks a solid contender to lead the team in the next season. Apart from Pooran, LSG retained Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan.
Ravi and Mayank were retained for Rs 11 crore each. Badoni and Mohsin are uncapped players and they will have a salary of Rs 4 crore each.
